25 Days of Gays: Love Songs (2007)

The French film Love Songs is a musical drama from writer/director Christophe Honoré (Winter Boy, Sorry Angel, Man at Bath, Let My People Go!). It tells the story of Julie & Ismaël (played by Louis Garrel), a happy couple who open up their relationship to a threesome with Alice. The three end up establishing a strong emotional connection until tragedy strikes. Julie's death throws off everything in Ismaël's life, but that three-way connection soon puts him on the road to new love as Alice watches over him during his drunken nights. When she takes him in, he meets her new boyfriend Gwendal (played by Yannick Renier) and his younger brother Erwann (played by Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet). This leads to him beginning a reluctant new romance with Erwann. Louis, Yannick & Grégoire all appeared shirtless, with Grégoire also showing rear nudity during the film. Louis Garrel previously appeared in the 25 Days of Gays entry Saint Laurent, while Yannick Renier previously appeared in the 25 Days of Gays entry Going South.
