25 Days of Gays: Something Like Summer (2017)

The romantic drama Something Like Summer explores the tumultuous relationship that develops between Ben (played by Grant Davis) and Tim (played by Davi Santos), and how it evolves from high school into adulthood after openly gay Ben accidentally injures the athlete Tim's leg and steps in to help him during his recovery. Their high school affair is ended when Tim's closeted lifestyle is threatened by a classmate who learns of their secret romance. Years later, the two cross paths again and find their connection inescapable, while Ben begins building a life with his flight attendant love Jace, played by Ben Baur (Hunting Season). Davi, Grant & Ben were all featured shirtless in various scenes. This film marked the directorial debut of David Berry, who worked as a cinematographer on the previously featured gay films Judas Kiss and The Dark Place.
