Tom Brittney on Grantchester (2021)

The UK period mystery Grantchester returned this week for its sixth season. The premiere found the show's main characters leaving the vicarage behind for a summer vacation at the famed Merries Holiday Camp. Of course, it's not long before a murder mystery puts leading men Geordie & Will (played by Tom Brittney) on the trail of a killer at the camp. Will was also encouraged by his friends to find time for romance with Pamela, one of the camp staffers. The two stripped off their clothes to take a swim under the moonlight. Tom was shirtless for the brief scene. The episode also featured a subplot for the show's gay characters as Leonard (played by Al Weaver) brought his secret boyfriend Daniel (played by Oliver Dimsdale) along on the trip. They stole away as much alone time as possible, while Leonard was befriended by camp employee Bryan, who attempted to kiss him. Leonard kept his distance and told Daniel, who urged him to take it as a compliment. Bryan (played by Michael Abubaker) later caught the couple in bed together and then sought to punish Leonard by outing him to Will, unaware that Will knows Leonard's secret. Will told Bryan he would handle the situation and urged him to keep it quiet. The group left the camp, but things ended ominously as Bryan was shown developing photos he had taken in secret of Leonard & Daniel's time alone at the camp.
