Ted Sutherland, Andrew Horton, Alex MacNicoll & Spence Moore II on Brilliant Minds (2024)

Episode 8 of the NBC medical drama Brilliant Minds found leading man Oliver Wolf (played by Zachary Quinto) embarking on a potential new romance with his colleague, surgeon Josh Nichols (played by Teddy Sears). The two got several makeout scenes during the episode, but the appearance of Wolf's mother, also their boss, got him thinking about a similar situation from his past. Flashbacks revealed that 18-year-old Oliver (played by Ted Sutherland) embarked on a romance with British exchange student Tom (played by Andrew Horton), creating a formative experience in his coming of age, until his mother caught the two kissing and sent Tom packing back to the UK. Ted & Andrew got multiple shirtless scenes during the flashbacks. Back in the present, romance was also a focus for the interns as Ericka got closer to Van (played by Alex MacNicoll), despite revealing to him that she had a crush on their fellow intern Jacob (played by Spence Moore II). Spence was shirtless for a locker room scene with the group, while Alex later got his shirt removed before Van & Ericka hit the sheets at the end of the episode.
