Michael Thomas Grant & Jake Borelli on Grey's Anatomy (2024)

Episode 7 of Season 21 of Grey's Anatomy was the last for cast member Jake Borelli. His character, Dr. Levi Schmitt, recently accepted a research position in Texas which would take him away from Seattle for at least six weeks. Given his recently ignited romance with hospital chaplain James (played by Michael Thomas Grant), his final day at Grey-Sloan began in bed. The guys talked about Levi's upcoming departure and how it would impact their relationship. Both actors were shirtless for the scene. Levi would later ask James to move to Texas with him, instead of attempting a long-distance relationship. Their final scene revealed that James resigned from the hospital and decided to join Levi. They ended their storyline with a kiss, before walking off together. The episode brought an end to out actor Jake Borelli's eight-year run on the medical drama.
