25 Days of Gays: Love in Country (2023)

Taking place in 1968, the romantic drama Love in Country tells the story of love and dedication that develops between Army Sergeants Johnny Reese (played by Michael Southworth) and Ian Alexander (played by David Garber), who step up to lead their squad in completing a CIA Mission after their platoon is overrun during the Vietnam War. With their lives on the line, they fight against their trauma in a battle for love and survival during a time when soldiers were expected to give all to their country, even when that country refused to recognize their sexuality and love. Both Michael & David appeared shirtless in their underwear during the film, as Johnny & Ian stole time away from their squad to be alone together. Elijah Olachea & Brandon Yutterman also got brief shirtless scenes for their roles as members of the platoon.
