25 Days of Gays: Passages (2023)

The romantic drama Passages follows Tomas (played by Franz Rogowski), a filmmaker who sees his marriage to Martin (played by Ben Whishaw) crumble when he impulsively begins an affair with a young woman. The resulting chaos causes all three of them to rethink their lives as their personal and professional worlds grow more complicated. The film featured rear nudity from Franz & Ben. There was also brief frontal nudity from Erwan Kepoa Falé, who played Amad, a friend that Martin gets involved with after his marriage falls apart. All three actors have previously appeared in 25 Days of Gays entries. Franz starred in Great Freedom. Ben starred in Lilting and Erwan starred in Winter Boy. Director Ira Sachs also directed the gay film Keep the Lights On, which was previously featured here on the blog.
