Sam Heughan on Outlander (2023)

The STARZ drama Outlander is back for its seventh season. Episode 2 was a climactic one for the enduring couple of Claire & Jamie (played by Sam Heughan). They were forced to say goodbye to their daughter and grandchildren, as they made the journey back to the present time. Jamie also saw his other child, the now-adult William, whom he spied with his other father, Lord John. The boy did not see Jamie, but John did. The two men would later have an emotion-filled conversation as John suggested Jamie spend time with their son, only to be met with Jamie's announcement that they would have to sever all ties to each other to protect the family and William, who had joined the British army against the rebellious group that Jamie pledged to support. This left John saddened, given his love for Jamie. Leading man Sam also got out of his shirt for a bed scene late in the episode as the losses of their loved ones caught up to Claire when the two attempted to have sex. A shirtless Jamie provided her comfort as she broke down.
