K.J. Apa, Nicholas Barasch & Karl Walcott on Riverdale (2023)

This week's new episode of The CW drama Riverdale was another of their musical offerings. Episode 14 of the seventh season found Kevin (played by Casey Cott) writing a musical about teenage life with his boyfriend Clay (played by Karl Walcott), which led to their friends auditioning to play their own fictional selves. This led to Archie (played by K.J. Apa) competing with his fellow redhead Julian (played by Nicholas Barasch) for the part of Archie in the musical. Their audition montage included them racing one another before ditching their shirts and later taking a steamy shower together in the locker room. Karl got to lose his shirt as well, as the episode also featured Clay & Kevin having sex for the first time and Clay making a quick exit in his underwear the next morning. Cast member Charles Melton got to show off his muscles in his basketball uniform as Reggie appeared as part of the episode's opening musical montage.
