25 Days of Gays: In From the Side (2022)

25 Days of Gays comes to an end for this month with the UK drama In From the Side. Centering around two gay rugby players, the film explores the fallout and ramifications for a divided gay rugby club when Mark & Warren's drunken sexual encounter leads to a clandestine affair that could destroy the club, as the A and B teams collide with the lovers on either side. Mark (played by Alexander Lincoln) is in an open relationship with his often-traveling boyfriend Richard (played by Alex Hammond) including several strict rules, while Warren (played by Alexander King) is in a long-term relationship with the club's A-team star John (played by Peter McPherson). Mark & Warren's relationship moves beyond a one-night stand, breaking the rules of Mark's open relationship, and leading to a secret among teammates that causes even more issues, especially as Mark's new teammate Henry (played by Will Hearle) develops a drinking problem due to his own unrequited feelings for Mark. Lincoln & King both showed rear nudity for the film. Lincoln also showed partial frontal nudity for a team shower scene, which also included rear nudity from Christopher Sherwood, Carl Loughlin & Will Hearle. Ivan Comisso, Franck Assi & Kane Surry also got shirtless scenes as members of the rugby club.
