Michael Rowland on Animal Control (2023)

The new FOX comedy Animal Control follows a group of animal control officers and the antics that they get into while out on call. Cast member Michael Rowland got stripped down to his underwear in the first episode. Michael plays Fred 'Shred' Taylor, a former snowboarder whose career-ending injury leads him to Animal Control. His positivity clashes with his gruff and eccentric partner Frank (played by Joel McHale). This leads Frank to prank Shred while on a call to investigate illegally obtained ostriches. The animals chase Shred up a tree where Frank suggests he take off his clothes because something about the smell has likely got the animals riled up. Shred removes his clothes and discovers the food in his pants planted by Fred, leading to a confrontation between the men.
