Alex Aiono & Jason Scott Lee on Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. (2021)

The new Disney+ series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., a modern retelling of the classic Doogie Howser, MD, centers on the title character Lahela, a teenage medical whiz who juggles her high school life and her budding medical career in Hawaii. She also deals with teenage romance, shown in the premiere's very first scene. Lahela enjoys some surfing with her father Benny (played by Jason Scott Lee) when they cross paths with Walter (played by Alex Aiono), who clearly has Lahela's attention. By the end of Episode 1 the two share a kiss. Jason & Alex were both shirtless for the beach sequence.
