Soapy Sunday: Ryan Carnes & Parry Shen on General Hospital (2019)

While Ryan Carnes & Parry Shen have been making regular appearances on the blog thanks to the ongoing drama surrounding their characters, General Hospital husbands Lucas & Brad, chronicled in the blog's GayTV Recaps, the duo haven't gotten any shirtless screentime in years. That changed this week, as the October 16th episode started with the couple in bed as Brad (played by Parry) experienced a major nightmare. Lucas (played by Ryan) woke him up, wondering why he was calling out another man's name. Brad covered, not wanting Lucas to realize he was dreaming of Lucas' nephew Michael discovering the truth, that Lucas & Brad's son Wiley was actually Michael's baby that he believes is dead. A shirtless Lucas looked to get to the bottom of Brad's continued stress overload, leading Brad to reveal he's started therapy. The October 17th episode found the two at odds after Lucas discovered Brad was secretly attending the parole hearing for Nelle, Michael's criminal ex and Wiley's birth mother. Brad apologized for being secretive about being at his old friend Nelle's side and the couple reaffirmed their love, while also promising to remain a team and have no more secrets. Brad, however, still holds the biggest secret of all when it comes to Wiley's true parentage.
