Binge Skin: The Politician - Season 1 - DC's Men of the Moment

The Netflix series The Politician tells the story of Payton Hobart (played by Ben Platt), an adopted teen with dreams of becoming President of the United States. With his life all planned out, he seeks to achieve his next big step, becoming student body president at his upscale high school. Of course, things begin to fall apart in both his school and personal life, throwing his plans into chaos, leaving him desperate to win. Ben was shirtless for a shower scene. His co-star David Corenswet appeared shirtless as well, for his role as River, Payton's political rival and unrequited love. Benjamin Barrett got multiple shirtless scenes for his role as Ricardo, the boyfriend of Payton's running mate Infinity. Real-life twins Trevor & Trey Eason also got shirtless scenes playing Payton's bullying adopted brothers. Episode 8 introduced a few new characters, including veteran politician DeDe Standish, who is part of a secret throuple with her husband Marcus (played by Joe Morton) and their lover William (played by Teddy Sears).
