Soapy Sunday: Chandler Massey on Days of Our Lives (2019)

The bedroom reunion between Will (played by Chandler Massey) and Sonny (played by Freddie Smith) continued in the February 19th episode of Days of Our Lives. The two remained in bed together, discussing how happy they were to have made love. They talked about memories and happy moments, but wondered how long it might last. They made a decision to end Leo's blackmail scheme, no matter the consequences. They ended the episode back at Sonny's house, where they informed Leo (played by Greg Rikaart), who revealed that he had already contacted the police. He handed over the photographs, formally accusing Sonny & Will of attempted murder. They arrived at the police station in the February 20th episode and were questioned, while Will's grandmother Marlena confronted Leo, warning him this wouldn't end well for him, making his mother Diana nervous. Sonny & Will were questioned and revealed the truth of Leo's accidental injury and their fear of anyone finding out, which led them to attempt to get rid of his body. While their allies in the department believed their story, Leo's photo evidence and accusation would still require them to be arrested for attempted murder. The episode also featured a sweet goodbye scene as the couple learned of their shared best friend Chad's (played by Billy Flynn) departure.
