Leonardo DiCaprio celebrates his 50th birthday today. Despite a career spanning over 30 years, Leo has not been featured here on the blog before. The blog rectifies that today. In honor of his big day, we look back at one of his early dramatic roles, a rare one in which he also showed rear nudity. Leo starred in The Basketball Diaries as Jim, a teen with dreams of becoming a basketball star until his life gets derailed due to his spiral into drug abuse alongside his close friends. Mark Wahlberg, Patrick McGaw & James Madio played Jim's pals Mickey, Neutron & Pedro, respectively. While hanging out together, the quartet all drop their shorts to moon a nearby boat passing by in the water below. They all appeared in their underwear for the scene. Madio showed his butt again later as the group played basketball in the rain.
