25 Days of Gays: Mascarpone: The Rainbow Cake (2024)

Mascarpone: The Rainbow Cake is a sequel to the 2021 Italian romantic comedy Mascarpone. It picked up with leading man Antonio (played by Giancarlo Commare), the successful pastry chef whose newest project brings about a reunion with his one that got away, Luca (played by Gianmarco Saurino). While Luca is now engaged to another man, Tancredi (played by Andrea Fuorto), Antonio can't help believing that fate has brought them back together, especially given his own unfulfilling relationship with Dario (played by Giulio Corso). Antonio uses his new partnership with Luca to figure out what it all means, even if it leads to him sabotaging just about every relationship in his orbit. Giancarlo, Gianmarco & Giulio all appeared shirtless for the sequel. Francesco Gheghi also appeared shirtless for his role as Ricky, a young employee who harbors his own feelings for Antonio. Luca Melucci got out of his shirt as well for his role as Ivan.
