25 Days of Gays: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (2022)

Based on a novel, the teen drama Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe tells the story of the titular Mexican teens coming of age in 1987 Texas. The loner Ari (played by Max Pelayo) crosses paths with the free-spirited artist Dante (played by Reese Gonzales) at the local pool. Dante offers to teach Ari how to swim, beginning a friendship that would carry them through their struggles with family, ethnic identity, and sexuality. When summer ends, Dante's family heads to Chicago, separating the boys who keep in touch through letters. When Dante returns and kisses Ari, it sets off a new chain of events that lead Dante into danger and lead Ari to spiral, as he comes to terms with his feelings for his best friend. Both Max & Reese appeared shirtless in the film.
