25 Days of Gays: Dead (2020)

The horror comedy Dead is a gay themed film from New Zealand. It tells the story of Marbles, a hapless stoner who can see ghosts. He crosses paths with recently deceased gay cop Jayson Tagg (played by Hayden J. Weal) who forces him to help Tagg find a serial killer to close his final case. Along the way, Marbles learns from Tagg's sister that her brother was dating a model, Khalid (played by Zak Enayat), who went missing, likely a victim of the killer. The film's only skin scene comes at the end. After solving the mystery, Tagg finds himself in gay heaven, where he is reunited with his love. Hayden showed rear nudity for the sequence, as it's implied that all of the residents are naked. Zak showed side nudity and several other actors appeared shirtless. Cole Jenkins, Nick Davies, Vanya Essen, Nacho Cuervo, Alex Walker, Jacob Dale, Sean Stapleton, Nikolai Gaiduk & Kirk Bryce Gillard were credited as Gay Heaven Dancers. The film was directed by Hayden. It was written by Hayden and his co-star Thomas Sainsbury.
