Happy Birthday, Sterling K. Brown!

Sterling K. Brown celebrates his 48th birthday today, making him the man of the moment. Sterling notably won an Emmy award and a Golden Globe award for his starring role on the long-running NBC series This is Us. The role also got him featured here on the blog, thanks to his shirtless scenes. In honor of his big day, the blog takes a look at his recent feature film turn in the Oscar-nominated drama American Fiction. Sterling played Cliff, the underachieving brother of leading man Monk. It was a notable gay role for Sterling which nabbed him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The film also managed to get him out of his shirt for multiple scenes. Alexander Pobutsky & Joshua Olumide also appeared shirtless for their roles as Cliff's pals Kenny & Alvin, respectively, who are interrupted by the arrival of Cliff's family at the family's beach house.
