The ABC first responder drama Station 19 returned this week for its seventh and final season. The premiere picked up with the crew of Station 19 after the events of the sixth season finale, where the floor collapsed during the Firefighters Ball, which left several lives hanging in the balance. One of the victims in the collapse was one of the series' main antagonists, Michael Dixon, the former fire chief who recently ran for mayor, prompting Travis (played by Jay Hayden) to run against him. Travis was unable to save Dixon from his injuries. The season premiere found Travis heading to the Dixon household to pay his respects to the family, which included Michael's son, and Travis' ex-boyfriend, Emmett (played by Lachlan Buchanan). Travis consoled Emmett after telling him about his father's final moments. This led to the two rekindling their sexual spark. Their shirts came off for the occasion. This will no doubt lead to conflict as Travis' first scene revealed advancement in his romance with his current love interest Eli (played by Rob Heaps). The two shared a kiss at Travis' house early in the hour.
