Taylor Kinney on Chicago Fire (2024)

The long-running NBC firefighter drama Chicago Fire returned this week for Season 12, which also marked the return of leading man Taylor Kinney. The episode wasted no time in showcasing his character Kelly's reunion with his wife and co-worker Stella as he joined her in the shower, quickly getting steamy. Taylor was shirtless for the brief scene. The episode also featured a departure as cast member Alberto Rosende said goodbye to the series after four seasons, helping put the spotlight on his friendship with the show's gay character Ritter (played by Daniel Kyri). Alberto's character Gallo showed up at the fire station revealing his decision to move to Detroit. After saying goodbye to the group, he got a more emotional sendoff with his best friend Ritter and his sometimes-love interest Violet. The trio got teary before an emergency call came in, forcing them to depart. Ritter shared one final moment with Gallo as he watched him ride away on the fire engine. Ritter was also part of another subplot which saw him reassigned, away from his mentor Herrmann, causing him some internal conflict. In the end, he was returned to Herrmann's rig, making both men happy.
