430 Kisses of 2023

With a new year upon us, it's the perfect time to look back at the treasure trove of kisses that 2023 brought. For the fifth year in a row, the number of kisses has increased, bringing a whopping 430 kisses for this year's feature. 2023 brought kisses between gay, straight, bisexual, transgender and non-binary actors from across the world. This year's post features kisses from television, streaming, feature films, short films, web series, reality series, cartoons and music videos.

Queer content continued to grow across entertainment platforms. Animation saw a big increase this year. The 2023 edition features 15 queer male kisses from animated series and films. This year's feature also includes the returning Casey Cott & Chandler Massey, the only two actors who have put their lips to work in every single Kisses of the Year feature. Great job, gentlemen!

Like last year, this year's feature saw several actors popping up for kissing scenes in multiple different projects. Adam Fox (Sugar Highs, The Holiday Shift), Aiden Howard (Goosebumps, It's a Wonderful Knife), Andrew Rannells (Welcome to Chippendales, Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake), Erwan Kepoa Falé (Winter Boy, Passages), Jonathan Bennett (Fantasy Island, Christmas on Cherry Lane), Peter Porte (Days of Our Lives, Notes of Autumn), Noah J. Ricketts (Fellow Travelers, Summoning Sylvia), and Vincent Rodriguez III (Christmas on Cherry Lane, With Love) all appeared in multiple queer roles. BL actors Jiratchapong Srisang & Kasidet Plookphol even played love interests together in two different series released this year (A Boss and a Babe, Only Friends).

It wasn't all good news this year. Another sad tradition continued as well, with several series that featured queer content coming to an end. New Amsterdam, Titans, Kung Fu, Sex Education, Glamorous, Sex/Life, Gossip Girl, One of Us is Lying, Doom Patrol, With Love, The Other Two and Riverdale were among the series that came to an end in 2023.

    Hi! Really really appreciate your work here. Quick question, on The Great cap, I don't think it's Nicholas Hoult?

      It is Nicholas. He's playing two characters on the series. He wears fake teeth for this role which is why his face structure looks a bit different from the side for the kiss. It's from Episode 10 of the third season.
