Ryan Ali, Kheon Clarke, Thomas Elms & Aaron Ashmore on SkyMed (2023)

This week's new episode of the Canadian medical drama SkyMed was full of gay storylines. The relationship between main characters Tristan (played by Kheon Clarke) and Nowak (played by Thomas Elms) began with some tension as the two spotted their coworker and Nowak's friend Reese (played by Ryan Ali) escorting his hook-up (played by Quinn Lazenby) out of the SkyMed shared house with a kiss while shirtless. Nowak questioned Reese's relationship status with his boyfriend leading Reese to reveal that he was in an open relationship, which he had told Tristan about already. This annoyed Nowak, who felt Tristan was keeping things from him regarding Reese after Tristan & Reese's previous kiss last season. Tristan & Reese were out on a case together, which had them transporting a cancer patient Tony (played by Christopher Hayes). Tristan watched Tony part ways with his partner Jeff (played by Jonathan Maxwell Silver). The couple shared a kiss before the departure. The flight would later get grounded, stranding the SkyMed team out of town, ruining Tristan's planned date night with Nowak who busied himself back home with work at the local bar, where he crossed paths with a curious gay patron. Reese dragged Tristan & his fellow medic Hayley to a gay bar where they were soon called onstage to do body shots, causing Reese & Tristan's shirts to come off. Hayley posted pictures from the drunken night, which landed straight into Nowak's hands on his phone, leading him to panic. With Tristan out of contact, he feared his relationship was done and that led to off-screen sex with the guy from the bar. He was shirtless in a hotel room later, as Tristan called in his underwear, looking to make Nowak feel better by sharing all the details for the sake of their relationship. This left Nowak crushed as he realized his mistake. Tristan arrived home the next day, kissing Nowak, who couldn't bring himself to reveal his indiscretion from the night before.Aaron Ashmore also got a shirtless scene in Episode 6 as his character Wheezer was awakened by Hayley who sprung up due to a nightmare while the two were in bed together.
