25 Days of Gays: Golden Delicious (2022)

The Canadian coming of age drama Golden Delicious tells the story of Jake (played by Cardi Wong), a high school student whose life and identity is rattled when he develops a crush on his new neighbor Aleks (played by Chris Carson). Jake joins the basketball team to get closer to him, causing pressure from his father to become the best player, while his girlfriend Valerie looks to further solidify their relationship with sex. As sexual tension rises with Aleks, and Jake deals with his bullying teammate Ronald (played by Jesse Hyde) and his parents' marriage crumbling, things in Jake's life reach a boiling point forcing him to confront his feelings and his future. Chris showed rear nudity for the film, along with shirtless scenes. Cardi appeared shirtless, as did Jesse. Hunter Dillon & Zavien Garrett were also briefly shirtless in their roles as Jake's friends Sam & Gary, respectively. Chris Carson was previously featured on the blog for his minor gay role on Riverdale, where he shared a kiss with Casey Cott.
