Happy Birthday, Josh Hartnett!
Josh Hartnett
celebrates his 45th birthday today, making him the man of the moment. Josh has
built a major Hollywood career over the last 25 years. He's also managed to
show off his body in several projects. Previous blog posts for
Penny Dreadful,
6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain, and
The Fear Index
showed off Josh's butt. In honor of his big day, the blog dips into the vault
for one of Josh's early roles. A 20-year-old Josh was cast in
The Virgin Suicides playing Trip Fontaine, the object of obsession for
many high school girls. His sex appeal and his chest were put on display for
the film, where he was shirtless in two scenes. Taking place in the 1970s, the
film was unique in its inclusion of a gay father for Trip, who was shown with
his male love, attempting to provide Trip with romance advice. Trip's father
was portrayed by Peter Snider and his boyfriend Donald was played by
Gary Brennan.
