Robbie Amell & Simu Liu in Simulant (2023)

The science fiction drama Simulant centers on Evan (played by Robbie Amell) and his wife Faye. Haunted by nightmares of a major accident they suffered, Evan soon learns that he is actually an artificial humanoid, made to appear real and live a normal life. When he seeks help from a hacker (played by Simu Liu) to remove restrictions on his thoughts and capabilities, it sets off a government-led manhunt to eliminate A.I. rogues. Robbie and Simu both appeared shirtless in the film.
