25 Days of Gays: Luz (2020)

Luz is the most recent gay themed film from writer/director Jon Garcia (The Falls, The Falls: Testament of Love, The Falls: Covenant of Grace). It tells the story of Ruben (played by Ernesto Reyes), a man who is imprisoned and struggles with being separated from his deaf daughter. He is placed in a cell with Carlos (played by Jesse Tayeh). After a rough start, the two begin a friendship that turns to romance. Once they are both released from prison, questions of what happens next for them are confronted, while Ruben formulates a plan to get his daughter back. Ernesto & Jesse both showed rear and frontal nudity during the film. Rega Lupo appears shirtless for his role as Julio, Ruben's cousin who is taking care of his daughter. They have a climactic confrontation where Ruben attempts to make amends with his relative.
