25 Days of Gays: The Inspection (2022)

Based on a true story, The Inspection tells the story of Ellis French, a young man living on the streets after being rejected by his mother for his homosexuality. With few options, he joins the Marines, hoping to secure a better future and escape the dangers of poverty. When his sexuality is discovered by his fellow recruits and superiors, however, he begins to wonder if military life might lead to more harm than good. Jeremy Pope (Hollywood, Pose) took on the role of Ellis and showed rear nudity during a pivotal shower scene where Ellis is punished by his fellow recruits, with the permission of their harsh superior. McCaul Lombardi, Aaron Dominguez & Aubrey Joseph are shirtless in towels for the scene, which also includes a naked extra. Eman Esfandi & Andrew Kai are also shirtless in the shower for their roles as sympathetic comrades of Ellis. They are all shirtless for Ellis' fantasy sequence as well. Raúl Castillo also appeared shirtless for his own shower sequence, playing Rosales, one of the drill sergeants who comes to Ellis' aide and provides him comfort and supportive words in the face of his experience in basic training. He also reveals his own homosexuality to Ellis, leading Ellis into a crush that is not reciprocated by his superior.
