25 Days of Gays: Concerned Citizen (2022)

Concerned Citizen is a gay drama from Israel that centers on Ben (played by Shlomi Bertonov), a liberal man planning to start a family with his boyfriend Raz (played by Ariel Wolf) while also looking to improve his gentrified neighborhood bordering the slums of Tel Aviv. When he plants a tree on the street across from his apartment, it becomes a symbol of his dedication. When he sees a young man of color endangering the tree, he calls for police to intervene to protect it. The young man becomes a victim of police brutality, which sends Ben into an emotional spiral due to guilt. That guilt threatens to destroy his life, his future, and his relationship. Ariel & Shlomi both appeared shirtless, along with Uriah Jablonowsky who played Ben's friend and workout buddy Roee. Ben & Roee talk in the locker room, as a naked extra gets dressed in the background.
