Aren Buchholz on Reginald the Vampire (2022)

The penultimate episode of the first season of the Syfy horror comedy Reginald the Vampire got recurring actor Aren Buchholz shirtless for the first time. The episode found leading man Reginald facing his impending vampire Assessment, the results of which would seal his fate and that of his maker Maurice (played by Mandela Van Peebles). With his studying hitting several roadblocks, Reginald was feeling less than confident. Meanwhile, his co-worker Todd (played by Aren) looked to seal his own fate by asking Maurice to turn him into a vampire, as he hoped to avoid aging and stay in his prime which he explained by removing his shirt. He even attempted to flirt with Maurice but the vampire refused his offer. Maurice found himself drawn back to his estranged lover Mike (played by Ryan Jinn) as he looked to stop Mike from attempting to kill Maurice's villainous maker Angela, knowing it wouldn't stop the Assessment or save Reginald. Mike agreed to trust Maurice and the two crossed paths again later as Reginald held a party with all of his loved ones, believing it to be his last night alive. Maurice was surprised to see Reginald had invited Mike but he welcomed him to the festivities knowing that if Reginald failed the Assessment it would mean Maurice's demise as well.
