Mandela Van Peebles on Reginald the Vampire (2022)

The new Syfy series Reginald the Vampire tells the story of Reginald, an unlikely hero who finds himself navigating the obstacles of dead life when he is changed into a vampire, putting him in conflict with the beautiful and vain vampires lurking in his world. Mandela Van Peebles stars as Maurice, the vampire who makes Reginald and becomes responsible for integrating him into vampire life. Episode 2 introduced Maurice's lover Mike (played by Ryan Jinn) who meets and attempts to give advice to Reginald. Soon, Maurice has trouble in the form of his own maker Angela, who is not happy with his creation. She lures Maurice & Mike to her home where a night of vampire debauchery leaves Mike dead and Maurice set up to burn to death at her hands.
