John Phillips & extras on Urban Legend (2022)

Produced by Eli Roth, Urban Legend is a new anthology series of nightmarish stories that showcase classic urban legends with modern twists to prey on fears and shock the senses. Episode 1, titled "The Red Room," centered on a troubled woman who livestreams scenes of torture for anonymous sadistic patrons in order to make money on the dark web. Her life turns to terror when her daughter is abducted and threatened, leaving the woman to attempt to track her down and get her revenge. John Phillips appeared in his underwear in the opening sequence, playing a man featured in a torture scene. The episode also featured the butt of an extra in a jockstrap, as the warehouse where the live streams are filmed was shown to be a kinky porn studio.
