25 Days of Gays: Shock to the System (2006)

Shock to the System was the second entry in the series of Donald Strachey mysteries brought to film starring Chad Allen as the gay detective. For this entry, Donald is hired by panicked college student Paul who is then found dead before Donald can start. The detective sets out to solve Paul's murder, causing him to investigate the homophobic forces in Paul's life, including the people involved with a conversion therapy program for which Paul was a poster child. Like the previous entry, Third Man Out, this film includes several skin scenes. There was rear and frontal nudity from Joshua Dave Tynchuh & Jon Johnson for their roles as college jocks who appear in the locker room as Donald arrives, looking to question another jock, Larry, about Paul. Shawn Roberts (A Home at the End of the World) played Larry and was shirtless for the sequence as he attempts to evade Donald. Chad was also shirtless, and shared several romantic scenes with his on-screen husband, played by Sebastian Spence. A flashback to Donald's time in the military and the romance he shared with his comrade Kyle (played by Dany Papineau) led to more rear nudity with Dany's butt on display for a sex scene. Stephen Huszar got a lengthy shirtless scene as his character was questioned by Donald as well.
