Luke Mitchell on Legacies (2022)
The CW drama Legacies returned from it's final hiatus this week. Episode 18 continued the march towards the fourth season's big battle against the god Ken (played by Luke Mitchell). Luke was shirtless for his first scene as Ken was shown topless and contemplative in his bedroom, staring out the window until he was joined by his love interest Aurora, leading him to get dressed. The episode brought a bit of closure to the character of Ethan (played by Leo Howard). His close friend MG (played by Quincy Fouse) revealed to him that if he continued to use his ability, it would kill him. MG begged Ethan to leave town and return home, knowing he wouldn't be able to stop himself if anyone he cared about got into trouble in the battle ahead. The two shared a heart-warming goodbye, as Ethan assured MG that he was the greatest person he ever met. They left each other with longing looks as Ethan boarded a bus. Meanwhile the show's actual gays, Jed & Ben, continued their rift as Jed (played by Ben Levin) remained angry that Ben (played by Zane Phillips) sought favor with his father Ken with a plan to relieve Jed of his werewolf "curse." When Jed learned that Ben offered to sacrifice himself to save everyone at the school, he forgave him, and offered to show him his transformation which was a necessary part of himself that he wanted Ben to accept. Ben agreed, as the episode ended. Legacies was recently cancelled.
