Andrew Garfield & Andrew Burnap on Under the Banner of Heaven (2022)

The new Hulu miniseries Under the Banner of Heaven centers on Detective Jeb Pyre (played by Andrew Garfield), a religious man whose faith is tested when he is assigned to investigate the brutal murder of a woman and her infant daughter in 1984. The two culprits, brothers of the woman's husband, claim they were acting on orders from God when they committed the heinous crime. Episode 1 got Andrew stripped down for a shower scene where his character was joined by his wife, who attempted to help ease his mind after his harsh work day. Episode 2 featured recurring actor Andrew Burnap shirtless for his role in flashbacks as Joseph, the focal point of the murderers' doctrine as they believed him to be a prophet. Flashbacks showed Joseph being persecuted by townspeople.
