Zane Phillips on Legacies (2022)

Episode 10 of the fourth season of the supernatural CW drama Legacies put some focus on newcomer Ben (played by Zane Phillips). The episode provided his character's backstory as he confided in Jed (played by Ben Levin), given a new threat looking to torture him. Ben revealed that he was the product of his mother's affair with a god. Despite his heritage, he had been unable to save his love Ashur (played by Caleb Krassner) from death, causing him to give away magic to his village of humans, who then abused it, causing the gods to punish him. In the end, Jed helped Ben overcome the monster that was after him and he convinced him to stay at The Salvatore School, solidifying their bond.
