Set in 1970s Los Angeles, the new HBO Max series Minx centers on Joyce, a young feminist who takes an offer from porn publisher Doug (played by Jake Johnson) to join a team creating an erotic magazine for women. While she hopes to promote feminism, she must contend with the smutty nature of the business and fight to turn it into something more meaningful. Episode 1 found the team auditioning male models for the first issue of Minx. This lead to frontal nudity from guest stars Luke Persiani, Stephen Conte, Erik Orijako, Emerson Niemchick and several uncredited extras. Guest star Taylor Zakhar Perez becomes the chosen one. His character Shane, a firefighter, makes an impression by saving Joyce during an earthquake, while only wearing an open fireman's jacket. Taylor's chest was fully on display for Shane's magazine photoshoots. While he didn't ditch his clothes, Jake Johnson's chest could be spied in open shirts in multiple scenes.
