Matteo Oscar Giuggioli, Francesco Gheghi, Francesco Scianna & Mauro Conte in The Invisible Thread (2022)

The Netflix release The Invisible Thread is an Italian coming-of-age tale centered on Leone (played by Francesco Gheghi), a teen preparing a school video project focused on his life with his gay dads, Paolo & Simone (played by Francesco Scianna), including their struggles for social equality in Italy, just as their marriage implodes after Paolo (played by Filippo Timi) discovers Simone's infidelity. Leone struggles with his changing homelife while befriending his new classmates, twins Anna & Dario (played by Matteo Oscar Giuggioli). When they assume Leone is also gay, Anna tries to set him up with her brother Dario who is struggling to come out, leading to a major misunderstanding as Leone has fallen for Anna. With his fathers' marriage drama mounting, they all find new perspectives on the idea of family when they discover that neither man is Leone's biological father. Francesco & Matteo were shirtless and Matteo showed partial rear nudity. Francesco Scianna was also shirtless for a bed scene as Simone bunked with his lover Riccardo (played by Mauro Conte), who was also shirtless.
