Episode 4 of the new CBS medical drama Good Sam featured a shirtless scene for Michael Stahl-David. Michael's character Caleb is a doctor and ex-boyfriend of the titular main character. In this week's episode Caleb helped Sam relieve some stress by pulling her into one of their former activities of jumping into a freezing lake. They snuck into a therapy room at the hospital, using ice baths to simulate the experience. Michael got out of his shirt for the occasion. Sam's current love interest Malcolm (played by Edwin Hodge) appeared in a tanktop in their first scene, which took place in the bedroom. The episode also featured some gay content as young, competitive resident Joey (played by Davi Santos) spent some alone time with his boyfriend, paramedic Tim (played by Stephen Tracey) while he vented about losing out on a big surgery. Tim advised him to not be so competitive and make friends among his fellow residents, telling him that he can't be his only friend at the hospital. This led to a kiss before Joey got an idea of how to bond with his colleagues.
