Eric Martsolf, Carson Boatman, Lucas Adams, Blake Berris, Daniel Feuerriegel & Paul Telfer in Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas (2021)

As a bonus to today's Soapy Sunday entries, it's a great time to look at the recent Days of Our Lives holiday special, released on the Peacock streaming service. Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas catches up with Will (played by Chandler Massey) and his husband Sonny (played by Zach Tinker) in Arizona on Christmas Eve, as Will struggles to meet his screenplay deadline. Sonny helps him pen a Christmas tale featuring their missed loved ones back in Salem. Their ideas put a spin and twist on the lives of Salem's residents, tweaking personalities, romances, and fates to fit a story of struggle as the town works to save local businesses from a Christmas eviction, leading to a talent show fundraiser which includes a sexy Santa striptease from local hunks Brady (played by Eric Martsolf), Johnny (played by Carson Boatman), Tripp (played by Lucas Adams), Nick (played by Blake Berris), E.J. (played by Daniel Feuerriegel) and Xander (played by Paul Telfer). All six guys stripped down to matching holiday undies for the performance and aftermath. The special also got Eric stripped down for Brady's earlier attempt to woo his love Kristen with a grand gesture. As for Will & Sonny, they celebrated the script completion, and the clock striking midnight on Christmas, with a kiss to end the holiday movie.
