Joseph Naufahu, Jacob Masters, Richard Crouchley & Dylan Thuraisingham on Head High (2021)

Episode 5 of the second season of the New Zealand family drama Head High featured shirtless scenes for a quartet of the show's recurring characters. Coach Jesse (played by Joseph Naufahu) hit the sheets with the troubled Gabrielle as she looked to take charge of her son Riley who has been under the care of Jesse's ex Renee and her husband Vince, playing rugby for Vince's team. She looked to get Riley into the elite St. Isaac's school, getting her foot in the door after their sexual tryst. He was shirtless again in a towel later when she returned to Jesse, claiming that Riley was excited about switching schools, when in actuality he refused. Meanwhile, St. Isaac's player Scotty (played by Jacob Masters) had a tense encounter with Vince's daughter at the pool, where she wondered about his presence there. He was shirtless as he explained that he was cross-training. The episode also featured more developments in the show's gay subplot as Riley's teammate Nico (played by Dylan Thuraisingham) spent another night with Steven (played by Richard Crouchley). They were shirtless in bed together when they were interrupted by Steven's stepmother wondering if they were interested in coffee. Later, Steven was threatened by Nico's father to stay away from his son. He obliged, but Nico didn't give up, revealing that he's not in the closet and he doesn't care about his father's opinion that he can't play rugby professionally if he's openly gay. The couple then agreed to attend next week's St. Isaac's ball together.
