Ben Platt on The Premise (2021)

The new anthology series The Premise sets out to tell character-driven stories, using contemporary issues as a jumping off point to explore those characters. Episode 1 starred Ben Platt as Ethan, a young man who fancies himself a social justice warrior. When he discovers a sex tape from his past has also caught a key interaction involving the arrest of a black activist outside his window, he must make the decision of whether to share the tape to help the activist's legal defense, which would give up his own privacy and dignity in the process. The sex tape is shown in parts throughout the episode and includes Ben's naked butt in multiple scenes.
