Coby Ryan McLaughlin on Dynasty (2021)

This week's new episode of The CW drama Dynasty found main character Michael attempting to find evidence of misconduct against Deputy Commissioner Dawkins (played by Coby Ryan McLaughlin) who looked to use his position to run a gambling ring that was affecting Michael's ownership of the Atlanta soccer team. Knowing Dawkins wants him gone, Michael agreed to sell the team, if he could choose the buyer, which didn't sit well with Dawkins, who demanded approving the buyer. Knowing he would be looking for a high bidder for a payoff, Michael enlisted Sam (played by Rafael de la Fuente) to pretend to be interested in buying the team, with hopes that he could get Dawkins to reveal his misconduct. Sam was quickly surprised to realize that Dawkins was interested in sleeping with him as part of the deal. Sam strung him along to get the goods, leading them to a suite in Sam's hotel where Dawkins disrobed. Given that Sam is currently attempting a long-distance romance with his new love interest Ryan (played by Lachlan Buchanan), he attempted to keep his distance from Dawkins and made a quick exit after getting the confession.
