Josh Swickard in A California Christmas (2020)

The new Netflix release A California Christmas centers on Joseph (played by Josh Swickard), a wealthy young man who finds his cushy lifestyle on the line when his mother sends him to secure the sale of a family-owned farm before Christmas. Joseph poses as ranch hand Manny and quickly connects with the hard-working Callie, who isn't keen on selling her family's land. Joseph & Callie fall in love along the way, causing Joseph to re-evaluate his life and future, while he learns lessons in hard-work and the simple life. The script called for several shirtless scenes for Josh, which comes as no surprise given it was written by Josh's wife and co-star Lauren Swickard.
