James McArdle in Ammonite (2020)

The LGBT biographical drama Ammonite tells the story of acclaimed, and historically overlooked female fossil hunter Mary Anning, who in her later years spends her time selling common fossils to London tourists to help her care for her ailing mother. She is visited by wealthy Roderick Murchison (played by James McArdle) and his ailing wife Charlotte. When Roderick leaves Charlotte in Mary's care in exchange for payment, the two women form a strong bond that turns romantic. James got naked for the role, with a scene of rear and frontal nudity. James played a gay role himself in his previous appearance on the blog in Man in an Orange Shirt.
