Soapy Sunday: Matthew Atkinson on The Bold & the Beautiful (2020)

The Bold & the Beautiful got Matthew Atkinson out of his shirt for the first time since March. These days, his character Thomas has been fighting mental issues as he's grown more connected to a clothing mannequin who bears a striking resemblance to Thomas' human obsession, Hope. The November 24th episode found him shirtless as he prepared for bed after having dinner with Hope and their son Douglas. The mannequin came to life, urging him to continue pursuing Hope. Though he attempted to resist the mannequin's orders related to Hope, he hallucinated that Hope returned and they shared a kiss, spied by Hope's love Liam. Things continued in the November 25th episode, where the shirtless Thomas realized he was actually kissing the mannequin and began having a mental breakdown.
