Binge Skin: Grand Army - Season 1 - DC's Men of the Moment

The Netflix series Grand Army is a drama focused on a group of diverse Brooklyn high school students who find themselves at emotional crossroads after a nearby explosion causes a school lockdown. The inciting incident leads the students at the fictional Grand Army High School to confront simmering issues of sex, race and class that permeate the halls. Leading man Amir Bangeria plays Sid, a member of the popular swim team, juggling his pursuit of Harvard, leading his team to victory, his girlfriend and his closeted homosexuality. He got several shirtless scenes during the first season, along with some makeout scenes with recurring actor August Blanco Rosenstein who plays his openly-bisexual science project partner and school newspaper editor Victor, and guest star Matthew Finlan whose character he meets online for a hookup. Amir's co-star Anthony Ippolito was also shirtless for his role as George, Sid's swim teammate whose problematic relationship with girls at the school leads him to trouble. There were also shirtless scenes for recurring actor David Iacono who plays Bo, another member of the swim team. Bo gets into conflict with Sid due to his laziness on the team, and his interest in Sid's sister. Their shirtless confrontation in the locker room leads to Bo posting Sid's college entrance letter, which discusses his sexuality, turning Sid's world upside down. Recurring actor Diego Martinez-Hau was also shirtless in the swim team locker room.
