Soapy Sunday: Matthew Atkinson on The Bold & the Beautiful (2019)

The Bold & the Beautiful this week focused on the honeymoon of Hope and Thomas (played by Matthew Atkinson), which meant lots of shirtless screentime for him. Matthew was shirtless in four separate episodes. It began with the July 29th episode where Thomas ditched his shirt moments after arriving at the couple's hotel room. He hoped to get steamy, but a reluctant Hope put the brakes on. He continued to pressure her for sex in the July 30th episode, though he didn't get very far. He remained topless in the July 31st episode, though Hope still resisted the chance for sex, leading him to get dressed and order room service. His shirt came off again for the August 2nd episode, where he hoped to finally consummate his marriage, though the couple was then interrupted by a call from his son, revealing he exposed the secret that Hope's baby is still alive, ending the romance as Thomas looked to make an escape.
