Alberto Rosende on Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments (2019)

This week's new episode of Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments featured a shirtless scene for cast member Alberto Rosende. His character, Simon, gets a visit from Shadowhunter Isabelle looking to secure his assistance with her plan to help their friend Clary break her connection to her villainous brother Jonathan. Her arrival awakens a shirtless Simon and Isabelle takes in the view before recruiting him. In other happenings, Alec (played by Matthew Daddario) began his plan to propose to his boyfriend Magnus (played by Harry Shum Jr.) as they began apartment hunting. He made special dinner plans and Magnus promised to be there, only to arrive drunk, surprising Alec. Unable to hold his alcohol, or his emotions, Magnus lashed out over his lost magic, feeling worthless. Alec tried to convince him that it wasn't true, but Magnus told him that he wasn't sure his feelings would ever change. He tried to leave, but Alec stopped him, begging Magnus to let him support him. Magnus finally broke down, crying in Alec's arms, as the episode ended without a proposal.
